The Foundation shall engage in activities that enhance the economic and social well being of the youth and their families within, but not limited to, the Greater New Haven area. Such activities include some of the following:
A. Reduce unplanned pregnancy and to bring about awareness to help
decrease the teen pregnancy rate.
B. Provide sex education to teens, parents, and caregivers. To encourage teens
to take sex and pregnancy seriously, stress personal responsibility, and to
teach how to have respectful relationships.
C. Promote citizenship through active participation in foundation sponsored
events and community volunteering.
D. Work with neighborhood residents, local and national companies, state and
local governments and others to increase accessibility to educational
recreational and in some cases, family support activities.
E. Raise funds to support various programs sponsored or supported by the
foundation.
F. Promote development, education, empowerment and athleticism through
active participation in school and foundation supported activities.
G. Reinforce the importance of education beyond the High School years through
teen programs and various educational methods.
